A realtor asked me to provide art for a house she was listing. The house wasn't in a regular subdivision and wasn't far from a river. She thought it might help the sale if we created the feeling of nature and recreation. I loved that idea and went to work to design a piece that would bring the outdoors inside. In everyday life, not everybody has time to get out and actually go canoeing all that often, but putting a large piece of art on the wall certainly helped give the feeling that maybe at this location, there would be that possibility.
